A luncheon drew together several prominent individuals representing community non-profits, religious, educational and corporate entities, who all focused on the singular issue: Bridging the Digital Divide. This out come created the formation of the  D.C. Digital organization.

Our Mission

The D.C. Digital organization is a non-profit community based consortia composed of dedicated individuals and organizations ranging from educational and other community based institutions to religious and corporate entities. Our major thrust is to empower those with least access to current technology through effective training that will translate into meaningful, lifelong, lifestyle improvement.

Company Profile

The D.C. Digital organization consist of a creation of an Information Technology Consortium aimed at providing well-needed Adult basic education, literacy, computer training, and job development for those in our underserved communities. Chief areas of emphasis are:

The educational community, inclusive of Head Start, the Public Charter Schools, and senior citizens
The faith based community, inclusive of neighborhood churches, adult constituency, and other alliances
The community non-profits aimed at providing these services to youth drop outs and adults, inclusive of welfare recipients and the homeless

Working in conjunction with the corporate community individual participants will receive quality literacy, technology training, and effective job placement support.

This exciting new grassroots venture will create a comprehensive program designed to connect those who "have not" with those who have access to the world of information technology, and provide opportunities for more Americans to gain meaningful entry into its new technologically driven economy.
